Bringing in 2014.

So, 2013 has been an insane year. New friends, new experiences and endless adventures - and now it's come to an end .... WTF? Panic!

2014 is on the horizon. There's a new (proper) job, moved in with the bf and saving - well trying! Adult life has began. Is this the end? No more travels?

Nope I didn't think so either.  Happy New Year from Amsterdam! 

In a nutshell: 

-Landed in Amsterdam on NYE & watched the fairs work display in Dam Square / dodged fireworks all night because people love to throw them - makes sense 😱

-Visited Amsterdam Dungeon (Nick not a fan of baby roller coasters) 

-Standard culture/history stop - Anne Franks House! 

-Boat ride through the canals on River Amstel 

-Bars, cafes & restaurants obviously!

-Celebrated turning 25 years old in the Dam (eek) 

(Excuse the attempt at trying to write in the past tense - it's actually 03.09.15 & I'm pretending I never stopped blogger. Sinner!) 

The resurrection!

The decision has been made - with a memory like mine what is the point on going on my glorious travels when I can just about remember the county I went to never mind anything else. 

What about all the gory details you want to reminisce over during those cold wet windy days .... Those damn Welsh days! (And that's in the "summer" months). 

So hang fire while I search through endless Facebook posts and Instagram uploads to jog my memory and harass those lovelies that have joined me on a few outings since the "Four girls & Four months" episode - FYI those lovely ladies will be making an appearance once more! Told you they were for life.

I think on behalf of all the girls we want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our parents, family, friends, boyfriend (For Bethan) for giving us all the support, the opportunity (and £££££££££££) to allow us to fill our travelling dream!! 

Bigggg shout outs to Glyno and Paul's, Derek and Lisa, Catherine and Womma and finally Steve and Siany P (especially with my passport issues!!!)

We also want to thanks all the AMAZING people we've met on the way That made our travelling experience absolutely INCREDIBLE!! There were a few creatures in there but the rest of you were alright :) love you all!! 

We've had the best time of our lives and we will never forget it!!! Thanks girlies for the most amazing adventure EVER!! Hannah the super super organiser!! Someone needs thy girl as there PA!! Myself for providing the entertainment of the group!! What are they going to do without my impersonations?! Bethan the mother of the group although she'll never admit it! She can take control and sort us out!! Even if on the other hand she's the lightweight of the team although she's the oldest!! And Kate .... My partner in crime! What are we goin to do without our lightbulb/slow loris??! 

Thanks also to everyone who has read our blog and enjoyed the amazing adventure with us!!  So this is the wolf pack OVER and OUT for the last time :(

It's been four months with four amazing friends!! So girls where are we off next?? We better start saving!! ... Did someone say South America??

Airport shenanigans

So we all checked in fine at the airport and even managed to keep within the weight limits (which is a miracle considering how much stuff we've all bought!!!)

We sat and had lunch and bought a few more things before we left. Hannah and I were casually walking through the terminal when we saw CONNOR MAYNARD!!!

Bethan managed to pluck up the courage (because the rest of us were too chicken) and ask 'are you really Connor Maynard' LOL!! So we got a piccy with him and he was the nicest guy in the world really chatty and friendly and even ha to fly economy!!! He was a HUN! 

So we definitely finished on a high abd I know the badminton girls are going to appreciate this! We told him all about our travels and the blog! So just incase you do have a look here's a shout out to Connor from your biggest fans!!!! Woop!!

Countdown begins!

One hour until our shuttle arrives to LAX .... Let Operation Packalot commence! 

Last day in L.A.

Our last day is finally here!!! Booooo!! :( we thought we would get up early and head straight to Venice and Santa Monica beach for one last day of tanning... The weather in Hollywood was super hot and not a cloud in the sky. We got to Santa Monica and it was sooo over cast windy we couldnt even see the sea!! How does that work!?? We were told the sun normally burns off the clouds by 2 so We went to find some lunch.  We only found a British pub that was serving roast lamb and roast beef! Our first roast in 4 months and it was incredible!! 

The weather didn't look like it was going to get any better so we headed back to Drai's to go to the pool. We ran into some people from the hostel on the way do ended up getting into the pool party for free! Woop! We sun bathed and chilled by the pool for a whole when only Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks walked in!! 

In the evening we had a BBQ at the hostel... The served us minging American boiled sausages so we ended up back at kitchen 24! Lol! when we got back we ended up plying beer pong with shots of Patron (as per usual our tekkers were incredible) and doing a whale rider (you don't want to know/need to see facebook for the video!!) 

Can't believe it's out last night!! Feels toooo weird!!
